Kay’s Place opened its doors in February of 2002. Kay Conley had just wrapped up a venture in a little corner restaurant in Kingsville when the new opportunity presented itself. The new space was about three times the size of the old restaurant and seemed like a huge undertaking. With some family encouragement, she took the plunge. It became a labor of love. Friends and family stepped up to help give the old place a facelift. With the help of her husband Dave and her daughter Lorrie, they opened this new adventure.
